À mídia brasileira que continua odiando a Seleção: vai tomar no cu. Força seleção para sempre!

The CBF is always accused about every single bad thing in Brazilian football, and rightly so. On the other hand, media in Brazil is as bad as the CBF but they are never criticized because, well, they are the media and they have the power to control the public. It should be the opposite, but Brazil is a country where patriotism is getting too low at the extent that Brazil doesn’t have a strong army nor a worthy government, not even cultural TV shows to enjoy, just because people don’t bother caring to improve them. They leave everything patriotic aside, they leave the government be corrupt and steal all the money. Well, if the whole country is corrupt then how did you expect the CBF to be?
Americans have USA flags all over their house but it’s rare to even find a Brazilian flag in a Brazilian room.
All over the years, the Seleção was one of the rare things which used to make Brazilians proud to be Brazilians and to unite. But unfortunately, Brazilian media is destroying that today. Losing 7-1 against Germany was shameful, but do you really think that the best way to express your love for your team is to d it only when your team wins? When a team wins, almost the whole world appreciates it. When your team needs you the most is when the bad times come. Brazil has given Brazilians more joy than any other national team has given to its country. We turn their back on them because of 1 game?
“But Brazil was not convincing during the whole tournament”, which team that reached the semi final was convincing? Argentina, Holland and Germany who needed extra time to beat Switzerland, Costa Rica and Algeria?
Those who say this obviously don’t understand the World Cup. Or did they expect Brazil to win all its games 3-0? This is a WORLD CUP, the highest level possible in football. It’s impossible to reach the semi final without struggling.
And I’ll be very clear and say it: If Thiago Silva and Neymar didn’t get injured, Brazil vs Germany would have been a very different game. Brazil’s problem was mental before anything. The weakest team in World Cup history wouldn’t concede 4 goals in 6 minutes. The game obviously did not reflect the difference in level between both teams.
Scolari opened his midfield and wanted to hit Germany early. He made a big tactical gamble because he couldn’t tell how his team would react without its best 2 players. Brazil had never experienced this situation since years.

But the funniest part is that everyone supported Brazil and got hurt deeply after that game. Today Brazilians try to laugh about the 7-1 to convince themselves that it doesn’t hurt and to take it as a joke. That’s just stupid, in my opinion. And the media took advantage of that big time. Today, not a single Brazilian outlet spared the Seleção from the semi final memories. Some even made a statistic what the score would be if the game was still being played. Is that how you show your love for your team by mocking it and humiliating it? Such guys are hypocrites, because as the rankings suggest, Brazilians watched Brazil’s game against Paraguay in high numbers. Deep inside them, they secretly wanted the team to win and they were utterly disappointed once again. But most of them are too ashamed to admit or show their love for the Seleção, because it’s mainstream to not to. It’s not cool anymore, apparently, and you know, in most societies people just want to be cool so for that, they have to be fake.
The CBF are traitors and so is Brazilian media. All the stats suggest today that Brazilians’ love for their country is regressing. Yes, the situation is hard, but I guarantee you I know tons of countries where the situation is even harder and the NT is much worse, but the citizens still adore their country and have high patriotism.
Brazilians should stop finding p excuses and not let the corrupt Brazilian media manipulate them.
Dani Alves had the audacity to call Brazilian media “traitors” in 2013, during the Confederations Cup. He basically said what I am saying, that media should encourage the Seleção instead of spreading the hate.
